Nothing else to add... Datterino Rosso stands out from the other varieties of tomatoes for its elongated "date" shaped berries. It has a high sweetness, almost double than a classic tomato variety, it has an intense flavor and an extremely thin skin with a bright red color. This type of tomato has a consistency which makes it storable for a longer time after harvesting. Datterino Giallo is the real "progenitor" of tomato. When it was exported from the far away Americas to Europe, it was only used for ornamental purposes, because of its extraordinary beauty. But it is from this variety that the Italians coined the expression "golden apple". Datterino giallo is an extraordinary tomato, which combines its extreme sweetness and low acidity to its bright yellow color. When harvested, it appears in regular clusters of 14-16 fruits, with a cylindrical shape that is not well defined and uniform. It is rich in substances with high antioxidant power, capable of neutralizing free radicals. It also contains vitamin C, A and vitamins of group B. Thanks to its absence of acidity, yellow cherry tomato is widely used in recipes based on fish and seafood as well as to stuff pizza. Pizzutello is a typical variety of Campania particularly resistant, even to the most arid climates. To sun and earth goes the merit of its tasty pulp, firm and meaty and with a balanced taste. It has the taste of an authentic and original tomato, which makes it ideal both for quick dishes and for long cooking recipes. With an oval shape, it has the characteristic pointed apex, in Campania dialect "pizzuto", hence the name "pizzutello" and, when fully ripe, it takes on a bright red color.
