Our Factory covers the first hills of the Romagnolan Hinterland, only 10 kilometers from the Cattolica Sea, in a wonderful panoramic area. The first person to fall in love with this land was our grandfather Giovanni in 1959, when he decided to buy this farm and to undertake a breeding activity, in order to provide the already existent family butcher shop with its own meats, and so to offer the final consumers a healthy and genuine product. This choice was pursued by our father, Fausto Zavoli, who was eager, since he was a child, to learn the profession of breeder and butcher. The passion for this job was passed on and transmitted to us, and we tried to improve it and make it more strategical, thanks to the experience we acquired in all these years. We particularly liked the idea of offering a traditional salumi line of products to customers who wanted to taste something different and unique. That’s why, in 2003, after having obtained the certification for meat processing in the factory laboratory, we started to produce cold meat products within two different lines: Rustichello Romagnolo and the Mora Romagnola line which seduced us for her difficult yet compelling story.
