Linked to the sea for over a century, Salvatore Campisi produces and processes a wide range of seafood products, from Bluefin Tuna to Swordfish to Amberjack, to the highly prized botargo, tuna ham up to the refining of the catch into pesto and paté. The use of ancient techniques, dating back to the Arab period, refined over time in the small village of Marzamemi, the drying and seasoning of tuna products, in a particularly suitable climate, has made Salvatore Campisi, worthy of being considered one of the last connoisseurs of Traditions. It should not be forgotten that Marzamemi is located in the municipality of Pachino: the company Campisi has in recent years also dedicated to the processing and transformation of vegetable products, first of all the red gold of Pachino, the "Tomato of Pachino IGP", known worldwide for its infinite sweetness. Aware of the fact that we live off the fruits of the sea, the company respects the territory by providing for the processing and use of fish caught exclusively by hook and never by slaughter, in the name of a healthy relationship between man and nature. The attention paid to the identity of the territory together with the control of all the working processes and the genuineness of the ingredients make Campisi a reality that marries the ancient flavors of the land and sea of Sicily.
