Since 1993, Vincent Gaudry has been a pioneer of the Sancerre with the aim of pursuing a brand unique in biodynamic viticulture. His production reflects his deep feelings connected with his land and it is the expression of the terroir around.
He is an independent winemaker in Sury-en-Vaux (Loire), with 9 hectares of vineyards grown on clay, limestone (silex) and Kimmeridgian (caillottes) stones soil. Organic wines have a wide range of flavors, from exuberant to fruity, from mineral to smoky tastes. Without the use of chemicals, yields remain naturally low, contributing to the wealth of the product, alongside longevity and vitality of the ecosystem they are born into. In 2004, the Domaine received biodynamic certification from Demeter, and Gaudry continues to recommend others and the whole community to use alternative techniques.
