Albert Bichot has 4 domaines : CHATEAU LONG-DEPAQUIT in Chablis , DOMAINE DU CLOS FRANTIN in Nuits St. Georges , DOMAINE DU PAVILLON in Pommard and DOMAINE ADELIE in Mercury.
At each estate, one team is devoted to vineyard work, which includes teams managing both the vines and the soil, thereby ensuring intimate knowledge of each parcel and of the vines that are planted there. Ours are 30 years old on average but it is not rare to find 60 year old vines in some of our single vineyards such as “Le Clos des Ursulines” in Pommard.
Our wines always bear the hallmark of their terroir and of the village they come from rather than featuring a “dogmatic” house style. Nevertheless, vintage after vintage, Albert Bichot strives to offer wine lovers fine, elegant, complex whites and expressive, fruity reds with well-integrated tannins.
