An old and prestigious denomination: the Vino Nobile of Montepulciano Divided to exalt three of the most interesting terroirs, we are persuaded that the real tradition is to combine together the past experiences with the modem knowledge, respecting the nature.
The cellar of Fontelellera was conceived with the will to ensure the safety of the men at work and to lessen as much as possible the emission of CO2 and the consumption of water, always following the headmost vinification methods: photovoltaic panels produce all the energy; and all the waste waters, draying through a Fito/Foto system of depuration, are stored and then used during summer to irrigate.
The harvesting area allows a very good selection of our grapes and the vinification, entirely “drop”, avoids using mechanical pumps lifting.
The vinification cellar allows a control of the temperature on all tanks, and the Barriccaia and aging cellar are always at the same temperature.
The vinification is always conducted with the will to minimize the use of chemicals and synthetic products, to preserve a craft process, to encourage the authenticity of the individual terroirs, exalting the typical and the uniqueness of every single harvest.
